The puerperium is the period after childbirth, it stands for 6 weeks. The famous ’40 days Postpartum. This is the time your body needs to heal, the time to get to know your baby and to establish breastfeeding. The post-natal period is the most critical yet usually the most neglected phase for you and your child, and having some extra support can play a crucial role in both your wellbeing. Postpartum care is fully focused on rest, nutrition, and recovery. I, as your doula, will help you with the daily preparation of nutritious vegan meals, time to rest, but also help with a healthy sleeping and eating rhythm for the baby, support for mother and, if desired, help with tidying up a bit. Of course, also an endless amount of helpful information and above all a listening ear.
